Personality:
“Little Xia”. A brave young girl with the heart of gold and sense of justice. Ara was born in Fahrmann as a member of the infamous Haan family which protected the sealed Gumiho-God (Nine Tails fox) for generations. Thus, Ara is granted with a high pride and honor. When the sudden demon invasions occurred, Ara’s skill was actually not equal compared to them. However, she didn’t run away and fought them bravely. In the end, she eventually got cornered. This is the point when she primarily learned that her enemy is none other but her own brother, formerly known as Aren, who has been possessed by demon and reborn as a demon being, Ran. Even though she was shaken after knowing the truth and realized that her power wasn’t enough to protect everyone, Ara’s not a passive person and does not give up easily. She aims to train herself to be a lot stronger so that she could carry the family honor and reach her new goal: to fix things after the demon invasions.
Ara is not only a fighter with honor and pride, she is also a strong willed girl. This is shown by how her determination to save her brother, and she holds positive attitude that she could bring him back. Until she accomplish her mission, She temporarily acquired a power lend by a contract with a Gumiho, sealed by a Haan family member called Uun. In this contract, Uun will help her as long as Ara helps Uun gain the power of El. Although whenever she used her power, she will be possessed by Uun. That makes Ara being an individual with dual personality.
One is the usual Ara, with cheerful and kind attitude. Always being polite to everyone, and a little shy when she talks to new people she met. Ara can occassionaly be a little clueless , like the first time when she met Uun, but she somehow will catch up with the situation. She also never hesitate to help others in need especially when they ask for it, just like when the Pong race asked for her help.
When she got possessed by Uun, Ara’s personality will swap to that of Uun’s. After the possession, she acts different: she speaks as she likes; she can be such a haughty person with a sharp tongue; and she is also more intimidating, self-centered and more inclined toward rascal side. The good side is, she is really aware of her situation and rarely she will let people lead her as Uun’s natural attitude as a carefree being. Having a noticeable different personalities with Ara, most of the time Uun will suddenly posses Ara out of her control and act like a guide for her, as Ara is actually a clueless one.
Another notable difference shown at their first meeting was when Ara made a contract with Uun: Ara is an idealist for her dream to fix everything and turn his brother back to his former self. Uun, on the other hand, is rationalist, as she stated that it is almost impossible to actually change Ran back. Even so, Uun agreed to help Ara. To conclude, this dual personality of Ara represents as a symbol of Yin and Yang, which a relates to her combat style.
Although she received Uun as part of her power and herself, Ara was actually still haunted by doubts despite always trying to maintain a strong heart and will. This caused her lose her confidence and asked herself whether she is worth her power. This doubt and fear appeared because Ara has always fought alone and thus she felt that she carries the world’s weight alone. She is also afraid that she would be too late to save her brother, or that it is impossible. Her meeting with the Elsword party has changed her though. At first, their silly actions made her questioning whether she could really trust them to help her. However, Elsword managed to assure her of the possibility that her brother can be saved. He also promised that they will make it happen together. She finally accepted their invitation and joined them. At that point, Ara no longer felt lonely anymore as she starts to gain confidence.
However, the doubts in Ara’s heart didn’t entirely disappeared. In a battle, Ara recalled her moment with her brother and asked herself about justice. After a crucial moment in battle, Ara have come to realized her own justice. Ara’s realization has granted her power to wipe away doubts in her heart entirely and she managed to protect her friends. As her determination raised and her ability increased, she gained the title of “Little Hsien”.
Overall a nice girl, Ara sometimes shows her stubborn side, and she could be cranky especially when it comes to someone insulting her brother. Ara has faith in him and she also admires him a lot, which is the main reason why she always believe that he could change back.
Abilities:
Ara is very skilled with martial arts, Especially combat with spear with combination of swift physical attacks, and utility of spirit energy force such which is more or less similar to a monk but without healing ability. Among the other characters, She specializes in having amazing speed, which enables her to launch quick attacks, and make her capable to execute good evasion toward incoming attacks. She is good at using multiple strikes, combo and deathly blows with spirit energy. Her other special trait is that she is able to gain “orbs”, source for her skills that involve spirit energy force.

She also acquires a great energy power that is granted by Uun, the Gumiho which possessed her. While in possession, her stats in battle increases and some of her attacks improve. Her appearance also changes, making her looks like an albino. And she will attain white nine tails, white hair and markable red eyes and scar on her cheeks.
Later on after she realized her goal and her own justice, She mastered Younga way, which improves her battle style. Most recognizable movement of this style of battle is her aerial dynamic strikes, involve her to rocket down with her spear to deal a great damage at the ground after she landed.
When she became a Sakra Devanam, she gained two ways of fighting. Aside only Young way, she also got a new way called Fierce Tiger way. This style allow her to blast opponent with relentless barrage of attacks.
Sample Entry:
“Stop right there!”Ara stood firmly as she boldly warned those evil mercenaries. She was just passing by a small village during her journey when she happened to witness that at a rather empty footpath lead to a farm, an old grandpa who was carrying a cart full of freshly farmed wheat was being surrounded by some mercenaries. To her view, they don’t look that they have good intention. It seemed that they forcefully demand the poor grandpa to hand all the wheat to them. Of course, she quickly jumped in to interfere and defend the old man.
“How dare you commence such a crime! Have you no manner? Have you no shame?!” she yelled at them with bravado.
She wasn’t sure that she will be able to smack-and-whack those guys easily by herself, however, it’s not like her brain would process such reason.
A fairly high pitched voice echoed inside her head.
“Tch. Here we go again. Why do we have to waste our time for a small matter like this? I feel my freedom after 700 years being sealed is worthless, you know”
Her other ‘self’, Uun spoken.
“Bu..but we cannot let go when somebody is in trouble..”
Ara’s main consciousness replied. To the outside view she might be like a weirdo talking to herself.
“Haa.... you are aware very well that we have barely time left, aren’t you?”
“Yes...but still...” Ara whispered slowly. After a blink, she strengthen her grip. “I will lend a hand and help when I see someone need it. That’s by any chance!”
She changed her gesture to a steady one.
“Sigh..”
Somehow Uun sounded disappointed. However Uun found that this is what actually interesting from her.
“Such a stubborn one eh? Fine, I can cope with it. Let’s go!”
Ara nodded. She was not afraid when the crowd of mercenaries dashed at the same timing, all out to wipe her away, They didn’t care that she is a young girl, as the young girl ain’t scared at all. She moved at a higher speed, welcoming their ambush. She knew for sure that she would win this.
